It's been a minute since I've posted some really new music up on here. As many would know, Basement Jaxx are one of my all time favorites. They are always dope, even when they make weird gypsy house like their last album. Now, even though that gypsy shit is all well and good... I much prefer the sounds they used to purvey on their early EP's. Tracks like Raw Shit, Fly Life and City People changed my whole shit up. The last 12" they dropped with that Roxanne Shante track, Make Me Sweat, kinda hipped me to the fact that they were moving back in that direction. Their new EP, The Nifty EP is amazing. I just ripped all four tracks! I can't even remember the last time I digitized a whole EP. The whole thing is hard as nails and really funky. Just crazy.
